Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. celebrated the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China. The new 440,000 square feet building is expected to quadruple production capacity and improve supply chain responsiveness for its businesses in China and other Asian markets.
“We have a 20-year history in Mainland China, and we continue to invest in our future in the region,” said Ryan Napierski, Nu Skin President and CEO. “This new facility, along with our China headquarters completed in 2014, represent our two largest overseas investments and a significant commitment to China as a key R&D and manufacturing center for the company.”
Nu Skin invested $55 million in the project, taking effort to design construction in accordance with green building standards that conserve energy and reduce water consumption.
