In a collaboration with Minus18, a nonprofit that nurtures and empowers the next generation of LGBTQIA+ leaders, The Body Shop will donate $2 from every Out For Love Highlighter product purchased through June 30, 2022, up to a maximum donation of $100,000. This donation will help fund the Minus18 Young Leaders Program, which provides safe and accessible spaces to equip and celebrate queer young people and allow them to feel affirmed and connected with their peers.
On its website, The Body Shop Australia stated that it “proudly stands with the LGBTQIA+ community” and that its beliefs are why the company is taking action.
“We’re taking a stand. We’re signing our name. We’re working to make our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and customers feel seen and heard,” the company posted on its website.
