Plexus Worldwide recently announced it will expand into Mexico in early 2020, making it the company’s fourth market along with the U.S., Canada and Australia.
Plexus’ Mexico headquarters will be in Guadalajara where its warehouse and office space will be located. Local staff are being hired to help grow Plexus’ presence and introduce the line of science-based health and wellness products, as well as to assist those in Mexico who want to build their own home-based businesses focused on health and wellness.
“Plexus’ ability to grow so rapidly is thanks to the dedicated Ambassadors who are improving their own lives thanks to these products, leading them to spread our message of health and happiness,” said Tarl Robinson, chief executive officer of Plexus. “Our science-based health and wellness products are changing the lives of families across the US, Canada and Australia and we are thrilled that the people of Mexico will soon have access to Plexus products and this opportunity.”
Plexus chose Mexico as its next global market due to its large population of 129 million people, a growing demand for health and wellness products and the company’s success in reaching the U.S. Hispanic market. Plexus already communicates new opportunities in both English and Spanish on company websites, through social outreach, communications, training, business coaching materials and product information.
“Our expansion into Mexico is the next natural step of Plexus’ global evolution,” said Christopher Pair, president of Operations and International at Plexus. “As one of our industry’s fastest growing companies, we look forward to future success as we provide greater opportunities to families and individuals who want to embrace a healthy and happy lifestyle.”
In addition to Plexus’ line of science-based health and wellness products, Plexus’ Nourish One® initiative, one of its many charitable efforts, will extend into the Mexican market to bring awareness to child hunger. For every serving sold of Plexus Lean™ in Mexico, Plexus will make a monetary donation to Mary’s Meals, a global child hunger charity that feeds 1.4 million children a day in a place of education.
