PM-International AG is expanding its Headquarters Americas in Sarasota, Florida with an additional 3,500 square feet in its administration building and a second warehouse that will provide an additional 7,000 square feet. Headquarters Americas serves the administration and supply chain management for the company’s U.S., Canada, Chile and Mexico markets, as well as supporting additional expansions into Central and South America.
The company employs more than 30 people in the U.S., eight of which were new jobs created by the opening of the headquarters in 2018.
“As our turnover almost doubled in the US last year, and seeing the growing demand for our products in the Americas, we already anticipate increasing capacities and plan to fill another seven positions by the end of 2021,” said PM-International CEO & Founder Rolf Sorg.
Last year, the company received its Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification for the headquarters and fulfillment center, proving compliance with internationally recognized GMP requirements for manufacturing, packaging, labeling and handling dietary supplements.
The company’s North Branch offices in Pittsburgh will move into new facilities this summer, with plans to open another new office for the West region within the next year.
“As a family-owned business, we value a strong local presence,” Sorg said. “For us, our premium approach implies offering a local service and maintaining a personal contact with our customers and partners. Direct sales, after all, thrives from human interaction.”
