In honor of reaching the milestone of $100 million in lifetime sales, Red Aspen launched a week-long philanthropic initiative dedicated to spreading awareness and education about sexual assault and domestic violence.
“When we started Red Aspen, our mission–before we even had a product–was to inspire women,” said Genie Reese, Red Aspen Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder. “Opportunities like this week to give back, support women in need, and spread awareness of sexual and domestic violence aligns with that mission.”
The initiative included a social media and blog campaign as well as a $10,000 donation to the National Domestic Violence Hotline and a product donation worth $6,500 to the local Boise Women’s and Children’s Alliance.
“Red Aspen has grown tremendously in just over 5 years, and our favorite way to recognize such events is by uplifting and supporting the lives of women,” said Jesse McKinney, Red Aspen Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder.
