The Family Place, the largest provider of family violence services in Texas, announced it will present the Texas Trailblazer Award to Mary Kay Inc. Chief Executive Officer Ryan Rogers. The ceremony is set to take place at the 27th annual Texas Trailblazer Awards luncheon in Dallas, Texas, where Rogers will be honored for his achievements, success and commitment to opening the doors of opportunity for others.
As the grandson of Mary Kay Ash and the vice president of The Mary Kay Ash Foundation Board of Directors, Rogers has been at the helm of Mary Kay’s effort to support women’s cancer research and end domestic violence. Since 1996, The Mary Kay Ash Foundation has donated more than $92 million to women’s shelters, domestic violence service providers, cancer research programs and other important causes that support women across the United States.
“What a privilege to honor someone as dedicated to combating domestic violence and inspiring change as Ryan Rogers,” said Mimi Sterling, CEO of The Family Place. “His unwavering commitment to continue a legacy of true community impact has helped countless domestic violence survivors embrace a life of renewed strength and resilience. My gratitude is compounded by the opportunity to also recognize Chief Eddie Garcia, Representative Criado, and the many legislators who are responsible for House Bill 5202, a transformational law that empowers individuals with critical information and has the potential to save lives.”
